Does the tour still go even if only one person is booked?

Absolutely! If you are keen, then so are we.

Will you get me back to my cruise ship in time?

Yes – that is our priority! We will have you back at the ship in good time, without panic.

What do I need to bring?

We recommend you to wear/bring: Jacket Solid Footwear Bottle Of Water Camera – to record the experience!

What are the pick-up and drop-off options? Is this included in the price?

We can collect/drop you off at your accommodation, cruise ship, or the information centre in the Octagon free of charge!

Can I be dropped off in town to stroll around?

Yes – if you would like to walk around town or do a little shopping, we can take you there at the end of your tour! You will, however, need to arrange your own return to your accommodation or cruise ship. You can always confirm your intentions with your guide on the tour – they will let you know what time allows.

How many people are on the tours?

A maximum of 13 passengers fit in our van (this includes the driver/guide). This is a good number which allows us to get to know you during the tour, easily share our knowledge, answer your questions, and tell a few stories.

Are there any mobility considerations?

If your tour includes the Otago Peninsula Eco Rehabilitation Alliance (OPERA), you need a good level of mobility to navigate the 2kms. of walking including steps and uneven ground. Wheel chairs or baby strollers/walkers can’t be taken on this tour.
